avec, a Mediterranean and Midwestern influenced shared plates restaurant, opened in October 2003 out of a partnership between Executive Chef Paul Kahan, restaurateur Donnie Madia and wine steward Eduard Seitan. Chef Perry Hendrix’s rustic menu, featuring Midwest ingredients from valued local purveyors, takes its cue from the sun-drenched wine regions of Southwestern Europe. Originally conceived as a wine bar, the kitchen’s offerings quickly steered the space in another direction. Thirty wines are offered by the glass, encouraging guests to experiment with avec’s selection of European boutique wines.

Nestled in the infamous West Loop, City Winery Chicago is a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining.

Cochon Volant Brasserie is a French bakery, brasserie and bar, owned and operated by Well Done Hospitality. Opening in April 2015, Cochon Volant Brasserie helped lead the culinary resurgence of the Chicago Loop. Cochon Volant Brasserie blends traditional French influences and execution with American bistro staples, offering weekday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. A full-service bakery is also attached to the restaurant, serving pastries and coffee to-go. Menu by James Beard Award winning Chef Roland Liccioni and Zagat’s 30 under 30 winner, Chef Matt Ayala. Group dining capacities of up to 200 guests.

Grant Park Bistro is a French grill from LM Restaurant Group focusing on contemporary French dishes. The sharable menu centers around items from the grill as well as bistro classics such as Boeuf Bourguignon and Coq au Vin. The French inspired beverage program focuses heavily wines specifically from the Loire Valley and Rhône regions of France and includes a selection of local and French beers as well as craft cocktails. The bistro also features a cafe section in partnership with local Chicago bakery, Vanille Patisserie. Petite Vanille serves favorites such as croissants, pain au chocolate and almond croissants as well as French macarons. Cake slices of Vanille signature cakes are also available daily. Grant Park Bistro is open daily serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch.

Taureaux Tavern is an elevated yet inviting French-inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Chicago’s Loop neighborhood. Designed as an all encompassing dining experience, Taureaux Tavern offers multiple areas of service and a year-round patio alongside Executive Chef Mike Sheerin’s artfully crafted menu. Group dining capacities of up to 350 guests.
